Celebrate Easter with our delicious crowd pleasing recipe!

½ cup milk
½ cup butter
2 cups granulated sugar
7 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup shredded coconut
Small candy coated chocolate Easter eggs

Before starting, line 2-3 cookie trays with wax paper.

In a large saucepan, mix together sugar, milk, butter and cocoa powder. Cook this mixture over medium-low heat, and stir constantly at a gentle boil until all ingredients are evenly combined

Once ingredients are evenly mixed remove the saucepan from the heat. Then working quickly, mix in the vanilla, oatmeal and coconut.

Stir everything well to thoroughly combine all the ingredients, making sure all the coconut and oatmeal has been coated with the chocolate mixture.

Next drop tablespoon sized cookies onto the wax paper lined trays and place 2-3 mini eggs in the middle of each cookie. Shape the cookies with your fingers for more uniform nests.

Place the trays in the fridge for 45 minutes to set.

Once the nests have set, serve them up to your family and guests for the ultimate WOW reaction!
